(Everyone stop your babbling and whining for the July 9th Power 10 is here, and a very anticipated one at that. We've got a lot of shocking changes. This Power 10 highlights a new #1 superstar, some moving back up and others falling from their kingdoms.)
Making An Appearance This Week Tying for #10
Psycho Savage-
HAJW's resident savage psycho was victorious against his former ally Frog Man. The highflying hero was left bruised by his betrayer. Will Savage keep a move on from here?
(Last Week: N/A)
On the other end of the rope in the tug of war for #10
Samoa Machine-
Samoa Machine was dropped from Power 10 last week but this past WNB, the overzealous, loud mouth, obnoxious, superstar picked up a hard earned victory over Rhino. He says he's coming for the Cruiserweight Championship, and if he can do what he did at Fall From Grace, we may have to take his word for it.
(Last Week: N/A)
Completing a Triple Threat For #10:
Pennylane-
Pennylane, a hungry contender, maybe even starving. He showed his ambitious behavior when he defeated Team Corrupted member Big Daddy. Pennylane has one more road block ahead of him before Fall From Grace and the academy is eager to see if this is the month the beast in Pennylane gets fed!
(Last Week: N/A)
Descending to and Tying For #9:
The Corrupted- (Big Daddy and Psycho Savage)
The Corrupted did not compete this week as a unified team but they did fair half in half in singles action. Let's see if the ring rust in the tag division fazes them because the Power 10 is moving and we won't be waiting up.
(Last Week: #7)
Also staggering this week, Holding A Grudge at #9:
The Impacter-
The Impacter had a golden opportunity to make a big impact this past WNB when he stepped into the ring with the Hardcore Champion. Like many, he couldn't live up to the moment and failed taking a beating as Swanton John climbed the ladder. Whats next for the newcomer? More defeat, or a sudden string of victories? Last Week: #8
Moving Along, Taking #8:
Toby King-
Mr. King picked up a victory this past WNB over Level One marking 2 wins in a row over him. King is proclaiming dominance, silently and in this organization keeping quiet may be the best thing. But who cares, the King is moving up with back to back wins! Soak in the moment kid!
(Last Week: #9)
Falling To #7
RJ Wild-
Wild teamed with Swanton John and took on Los Illuminados, The Wounded Tag Team Champions and may I add, were completey embarrassed. The tag champs stood their ground, getting their heads back together and easily defeated Wild and Swanton successfully defending their gold in the process. Maybe RJ should find a new partner, or some new talent. What ever happened to him "Rocking Out"?
(Last Week: #6)
Today's Lucky Number is 6, and someone is landing on it. Ladies and Gentlemen #6:
Aewyre Thoryn-
This past WNB, Aewyre joined the many superstars over the pat weeks in opening up a can of whoop @@$ on Dakota Manuel. After losing last week, the Imperial Assault regained his focus and footing and is moving his locomotive full speed ahead.
(Last Week: #7)
Pushed Aside and Tying for #5:
Danny Payton-
Danny "Shocker" Payton had a ton of momentum coming into the main event Triple Threat Heavyweight Title Match but he like another came up short. His dream slipped through his finger tips once again and I have to say, when will his day come?
(Last Week: #3)
Taking a huge tumble this week, Crashing to and Tying For #5:
Lucas Darius-
A sad day in HAJW occurred, well for Lucas Darius that is. This past WNB everyone thought Lucas Darius would still be champ after defying the odds his entire career, and even his entire championship reign. All, but Kelvin Kage!
(Last Week: #1)
Rekindling Their Fire, or Reassuring Their Superiority At #4:
Los Illuminados- (Luther and Martin Prince)
After their previous embarrassing defeat, The tag team cahmps showed everyone that they would not be dealt with so easily, or so quick for that matter keeping their reign alive defeating RJ Wild and Swanton John. They didn't lose their belts but they may have lost one thing, the laughter of the tag division!
(Last Week: #5)
Force to take a step back this week, dropping in at #3:
Swanton John-
The Hardcore Champion went 50/50 this past WNB as he defeated the cocky Impacter in singles action, but was unsuccessful in gaining the tag titles in tag action with RJ Wild. So in other words he proved his hardcore dominance in singles competition but failed to gain some more gold. If I were him, I'd have it the other way around but hey, a win is a win and a loss is a loss. He better just hope is next loss isn't his Hardcore Title!
(Last Week: #2)
Rising Above Taking Control of The Deuce, #2:
The Ultimate Kid-
The Ultimate Kid's week could be summed up as the.... uh.... Ultimate Surprise. I'd say Surprise because he surprised many when he defeated the seemingly unstoppable Travis Truth for the Cruiserweight Championship. The academy tips its hat off to good old UK, and we hope for a prosperous and long title run.
(Last Week: #3)
(Drum Roll)
A New Era is Upon Us, Establishing A New Order, The King of THe food Chain, Mr. Power 10. The #1 Superstar This Week!
Kelvin Kage-
Kage came in with the least momentum this past WNB but he proved it didn't matter when he outlasted Danny Payton and Lucas Darius to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Some credit the victory to Kelvin's constant yammering or bitching, others think the credits go to Payton. Everyone knows though, that Kelvin is thinking himself and why shouldn't he, he finally beat Darius, maybe not one on one but still, he'd done it. The Dark Aage is now upon HAJW!
(Last Week: #10)
